This Summer Higher Learning Hoops donated over 30 hours of service to The Giving Closet Project. A Duval County School Teacher, Jennifer Smith, has formed a great way to turn lost and found piles into hope for students in need.  The Giving Closet Project is a nonprofit designed to give families recourses like hygiene kits, uniforms, jackets, shirts, shoes, book bags, & books which will allow students to attend school more focus. Located on the Southside of Jacksonville The Giving Closet Project grand opening will be August 6.

Higher Learning Hoops through our Higher Learning Helps initiative is partnering with The Giving Closet Project to help those in need in our community. We will be helping collect items to donate to the giving closet. Please help us spread love in our community by making a donation. Below is a list of Items needed for donations.  The Giving Closet Project plans to prepare hygiene kits, care kits and success sacks for kids.
